General Guidelines

• We accept one submission per category, and you may be able to submit for up to 3 genres.
• All submissions must be sent to epopeyamagazine@gmail.com
• In the body of your email, send in a short bio of yourself and a blurb about your piece. 
• Format your email subject line in your submission as “FULL NAME – GENRE.”

• All writing submissions should be sent in as .doc and/or .pdf files.
• All visual art submissions should be sent in as .PDF, .png, and .jpeg files.

Writing Guidelines

Fiction

EPOPEYA is looking for short stories of maximum 1,500 words and flash fiction of minimum 300 words. Please format your submission with double spacing, 1” margins, and 12 point Arial font.

Creative Nonfiction

EPOPEYA is looking for memoirs, personal essays, and/or travel narratives of maximum 1,500 words. Please format your submission with double spacing, 1” margins, and 12 point Arial font.

Screenplay

EPOPEYA is looking for short scripts of 5 to 10 pages. Please format your submission with 12 point Courier font and send it in as a .PDF file.

Poetry

EPOPEYA accepts single poems or a collection of them amounting to a maximum of 5 pages. Please format your submission with double spacing, 1” margins, and 12 point Arial font.

Visual Art Guidelines

Photography

EPOPEYA welcomes both colour and B&W photographs. These can be sent as part of a series or as individual pieces. For better resolution, the format should be of 8.5 x 11 inches with a 300 ppi.

Concept Art
